Apple ID May Be Branded As "Apple Account" This Year

 

For users of Apple products and devices, you may already know that you will need an Apple ID—that is, an Apple account—before being able to use them. Now there are rumors stating that Apple ID will later be rebranded as Apple Account. 

This move is expected to make it easier to identify an Apple profile or account compared to using an Apple ID name. This rebranding is expected to be introduced together with iOS 18 and macOS 15 later. 

The reason behind it is not yet known, but it may be in an effort to make it easier for users to know about their Apple account and to use it, not to mention the integration support of Apple accounts on various applications in the App Store.
